Based on previous information regarding plastic product labeling, safety assessment, aging identification, and extending service life, the following are types of plastic products suitable for long-term use:
Food Contact Plastic Products Suitable for Long-Term Use
PP (Polypropylene) Products: It is the only general-purpose plastic that is microwave-safe. It can withstand temperatures up to 130℃, is chemically resistant, and does not easily age. Compliant PP lunch boxes, plastic basins, and water cups can be reused repeatedly after cleaning.
Tritan Copolyester Products: BPA-free, high-temperature resistant, and impact-resistant. Tritan water cups, certified for food contact, do not easily discolor or age with long-term use, offering excellent safety and durability.
PPSU (Polyphenylsulfone) Products: A special engineering plastic, it is high-temperature resistant, hydrolysis-resistant, and can be repeatedly sterilized by boiling. Commonly used in baby bottles, it can be used safely for a long time.
Highly Durable Industrial/Outdoor Plastic Products
PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) Products: With a hardness comparable to steel, it is high-temperature resistant, corrosion-resistant, and one of the hardest plastics currently available. It can be used stably for a long time in industrial settings. Blow-molded pallets offer excellent impact resistance and a service life of over 10 years under normal use, making them suitable for long-term, cyclical use in warehousing and logistics scenarios.
Weather-resistant modified PP sheets contain added UV-resistant components, making them less prone to embrittlement and aging during outdoor use, and suitable for long-term application in outdoor facilities and corrosion protection projects.
