Daily Visual Assessment
Appearance Changes: Obvious yellowing, discoloration, stickiness, powdering, cracking, and loss of luster are the most easily identifiable signs of aging.
Changes in Feel and Performance: Products that were originally tough become brittle, breaking easily with a slight bend, or show obvious softening and deformation, indicating a significant decline in mechanical properties.
Professional Testing Assessment
Laboratory Simulation Testing: Accelerated environmental aging processes are simulated using standard tests such as UV aging, xenon lamp aging, and damp heat aging, referring to the GB/T 16422 series standards, to assess the degree of aging.
Quantitative Testing: Testing the retention rate of tensile strength and elongation at break, or using equipment such as colorimeters, yellowing index, and infrared spectroscopy, can accurately determine the degradation of the internal molecular structure.
