Rough Turning

The goal of rough turning is to remove bulk material quickly and leave a uniform 0.3-0.5mm allowance for finish turning. Hayi Technology's rough turning service uses a high power spindle (≥15kW) and a rigid machine bed. Single depth of cut is 5-8mm on steel. For example, a forging shop sent us raw forgings with uneven stock. We did rough turning to level the stock. The client's finish turning yield rate went up from 80% to 95%.
